About Us

Core Counselling Academy is an approved CPCAB training centre offering counselling training at Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills and Level 3 in Counselling studies.

At the core of this organisation is a firm philosophy centred around providing a supportive and nurturing learning environment which will encourage growth personally and academically. You will be taught by professionals who are all actively working with clients and have the qualifications and experience to fully underpin your learning. At CCA you will experience a large fraction of counselling training linking to reflecting on your own thoughts, feelings and experiences. The process will require a lot of introspection and learning about yourself, your own challenges and developing your self-awareness over time. In addition, you will be completing an academic programme which will require you to complete specific tasks and objectives. All of this requires a supportive environment, understanding guidance and quality teaching.

We are committed to providing an environment that is simultaneously nurturing and challenging, within a safe, boundaried and ethical framework. 

We are therefore committed to teaching in small groups, of up to 12 individuals. We are assured that this is vital for building trust within the group so that our students are able to honestly and openly develop their understanding. We ultimately want our Trainees to gain the learning they need to hold clients in a robust way.
